I feel good.

Saturday, February 06, 2016

I feel good about myself because I am eating healthy and exercising. How I feel, physically and mentally, is more important than what the scale says I am actually enjoying eating healthy foods. Often when I invite people over for a meal I tell them it is going to be a diabetic friendly meal. Some of them are trying to lose weight also so they are happy to try what I make even if has flax seed, tofu or wheat germ in it. Sometimes they even ask for the recipe.

It's like physical therapy, sometimes I don't feel like getting up and making the effort but I do it anyway and when I am done I feel better and I feel proud of myself. I have only my self to please - I am responsible for doing what is best for me. emoticon

Thank You for Sharing your blog. I am so happy for you. When we exercise and eat healthy foods, we DO feel better! We feel better physically because we are doing healthy things for our body. We feel better mentally for the same reason, and also because we are proud of our accomplishments. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I agree with you, how you feel is more important than what the scale says. You have a great attitude. We have to do these things for ourselves.

Great attitude!! Why do we fight what is good for us and feels so good when we do it?
Doing it for yourself is the best motivation. Keep up the good stuff!!

Good blog! I feel the same way - sometimes I have to push myself to do my walking, exercises, etc., but when I'm done, I feel mighty proud that I did them!!

I aim to please me and no one else and I'm not looking at my scales for a while. They will guide me, not lead or scold me!! Thank you for letting me know about your blog!
