For the past year I have been using SparkPeople to log my food and activity. I also attend TOPS meetings for weigh ins and group support. So I log my food intake with both SparkPeople and TOPS. Results? On the scale, about a 25# loss, but I think it looks like more on my body. I began biking the rail trail last summer and over the cold weather months worked out at least 3X per week. Now I am back on the trail and still using weight machines at Y. I still have episodes of making bad food choices and exceeding reasonable limits of food consumption but for the first time in my 61 year old life I am not terrified of food and what the effects of it's abuse will result in. I am glad for my support systems and the daily will to use them. It will always be a struggle but one I plan to maintain the upper hand in.
