Food approaches, smoothies, gardening, and plan!

It seems like things have REALLY changed a lot on SP recently. I'm not sure if anyone will be reading this, or if any of my SP friends are still on here to see it!! :(

But, for ME, I shall continue !

I have continued to eat smoothies, almost every morning.
Right now my smoothie consists of: Spinach, frozen pineapple, frozen banana, 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1 TBS metamucil powder, splash of milk, splash of water. Sometimes some other fruit, sometimes flax seed.
Since I have added the oatmeal it's really contributing to helping me feel fueled in the morning. I've always been a person who didn't eat before work, so it's I think really good, plus I'm getting fiber in early, and it's still under 300 calories. In future I will work on trying to add some protein to this, too.

I've been eating this cabbage-beef soup for lunches. It's this fantastic recipe, a whole lunch serving of it is ~200-250 calories, plus I add rice, eat some marinated cucumber slices, and a carrot, the whole lunch is ~400-500 calories!! This is the THIRD time I've made this soup in a row, so I've been eating it for lunches often. I love it as a strategy.

I'm also super getting in regular plain ol' green cabbage in general!! I've been slicing it thin, putting some vinegar on it, and adding it to meals like beans/rice/chicken. I MIGHT try to use it tonight with a teriyaki stir fry, see if I can use it as a way to replace at least some rice.
It's cheap, keeps forever, adds great texture, and it's super good for you! I'm so glad I finally like it!!!

I ordered an athletic swim suit online yesterday!! I'm super crossing my fingers that it will fit me. I've been paying for the gym every month for faaaaar too many months now without going. I want to figure out a way to get laps INTO my LIFE again. I must make it happen!!!

As for gardening, the zucchini starts I planted are still alive, at least, and now my dad gave us some irrigation stuff, so we might go ahead and try to make another bed, for more plants, while we are at it! STAY TUNED! :D
