Help! What kind of a Fitness Tracker do you use?

Tuesday, August 14, 2018

Since my fitBit Zip kept eating batteries and finally died, I am thinking of buying another one. I'm afraid to get a zip again because of all the trouble I've had with it. So I am appealing you eho use them to tell me what is a reliable one and you like,

I don't like wearing one on my wrist....I really love the clip on ones. They don't have to be fancy, just be able to sync with Spark people and last more than a year and a half.

Thanks in advance.I appreciate anyone's help.

Well, it DOES go on my wrist~ it is a Garmin. it has improved since the last time ~5-10 yrs. ago ~we got one.My DH and I go running plus it has the steps, heart rate monitor, sleep monitor {which I like since my sleep is often interrupted and I want to see how much deep vs.light sleep I get. and more}. I have to say the steps are not recorded one by one ~but in bunches and it is really hard to see if it is accurate since if you move your arms {while talking or such} it 'thinks' you are walking. For the most part, I DO like it b/c I am paying ATTENTION much more to my times when I run ,trying to improve each day. I really like the heart monitor and the history it stores, especially the performance stats and little "badges" you earn when reaching your goals of say~8 hours of sleep or whatever goal is set for steps {they tend to give you a different one each day}.
Hope any of that info was helpful to you! emoticon

Sorry that I can't help you. I just use my scale to track of my weight and my blood pressure monitor and of course my glucomater to check my diabetes. No fancy things for me. Good luck. emoticon
