Attitude definitely is everything. I find when I'm in a positive frame of mind logging some decent miles on the treadmill is easy. The time just flies by. However if I approach it as some sort of chore I have to do the time just drags and sometimes I quit earlier than planned because of it. As such I try to put myself in my happy place when I'm about to work out and strum up those feelings of enjoyment instead of dread.
