12/29/2018 2019 Goal #1

I thought I'd make one entry on my 2019 goals but then I decided to do a blog on each one. That way I can break the goal down into manageable steps and be able to go back and review through out the year.
Goal #1 - Lose 96 pounds by 12/31/2019
Now this works out to be about 8 pounds a month or 2 pounds a week. Doable. This means no more sitting on my butt as much as I've been doing. Increasing exercise, Goal #3 and eating better Goal #2.
I lost enough so far to get off of one of my diabetic medicines. I am hoping to lose enough to get off of more or at least cut down on the dosage.
I also look forward to being able to do the simple things like bend over, do my own pedicure and other things that are hard to do when you have a big belly like mine. It's prevented me from doing a lot of things and it's time to go!
I also look forward to being able to buy clothes easier. I've seen lots of things I've wanted to get but they didn't come in my size or fit right again because of the belly. Another thing is that this weight causes me to get overheated very easily.
So to break it on down.
Each month - Lose 8 pounds
Each week - Lose 2 pounds
Measure each month the inches in the belly, hips, thighs
Measure the BMI each month.
I know I can do this. I am tired of letting my weight interfere with living the way I want and doing the things I want!
