The weather here in Georgia was warm yesterday. My family and I took advantage. It was to wet to walk the perimeter of the property in several areas, so I did what I do best, I worked on problem solving. I used the mower and trailer hooked to it, to put the free mulch from local tree companies along some areas of the perimeter. It doesn’t solve the whole problem, but it is a start to a resolution that will allow me daily exercise. The shoveling was hard. I am very sore today from the work, but will be able to continue working on this and my exercise routine as the rains continue. It is a tedious job, but one with a positive result in sight. Each perimeter lap is 1/4 mile. I can walk this without a babysitter and allow my kids to play. More frequent than not, the kids enjoy walking with me. I am once again tracking my calories. It sure makes me think 2x about that extra biscuit or unnecessary soda. It helps me to conscious of what I eat.
