Working hard

Sunday, December 30, 2018

The weather here in Georgia was warm yesterday. My family and I took advantage. It was to wet to walk the perimeter of the property in several areas, so I did what I do best, I worked on problem solving. I used the mower and trailer hooked to it, to put the free mulch from local tree companies along some areas of the perimeter. It doesnโ€™t solve the whole problem, but it is a start to a resolution that will allow me daily exercise. The shoveling was hard. I am very sore today from the work, but will be able to continue working on this and my exercise routine as the rains continue. It is a tedious job, but one with a positive result in sight. Each perimeter lap is 1/4 mile. I can walk this without a babysitter and allow my kids to play. More frequent than not, the kids enjoy walking with me. I am once again tracking my calories. It sure makes me think 2x about that extra biscuit or unnecessary soda. It helps me to conscious of what I eat.
