12/30/2018 2019 Goal #2

So my second goal for 2019 is to Eat better. I need to cut back severely on package, fast food and junk food. Not totally as that will just set me up to crave it. I will just be more selective on eating it and have it more as a once in a while treat.
So to break it down.
Include non-starchy vegetables with every meal. This could be having sliced tomatoes for breakfast, salad for lunch and say green beans for dinner. Keep the non starchy, white potatoes for example, maybe 2 of my meals.
Eat more fresh fruit. Now this would mostly likely be for a couple of meals and one snack. Like fresh orange for breakfast, small apple for snack. Maybe pineapple for dinner or desert.
No need to keep a lot on hand so some rots before I get to it. I have a really nice fruit stand really close. Also I have Publix and Winn Dixie close by too.
I also need to eat more meat and varied on that. I've been lacking on the protein. More lean meats. I can cook up a pot roast once and have it a couple of meals.
I need to cook more. I am a good cook. I can make better meals for a lot less so that will be saving money too.
On my water at least I have been doing really good on that already. Minimum of eight glasses a day.
These are easy peasy. I will start doing them. No real time breakdown.
