Sugar Sugar

I'm in the middle of Kathy Freston's 21-day Quantum Wellness Cleanse, and sugar is one of the things we have eliminated. It's strange how after the first few days, I didn't even crave it. On about day eight, I made a chia chocolate pudding with a small amount of agave nectar. It worked! I am committing to continue to leave refined sugar off my palate after this cleanse. It's in so many things and under so many names, but I've never felt better - I'm learning how to avoid it. The extra bonus is that I'm losing weight! Stay sweet, y'all! Image art by John Alcorn, 1966

    I do know what you mean about losing the craving for it when you've avoided it awhile. I also know how over-indulging on sweets during the holidays can make me addicted to getting that sugar rush.
