Hello darkness my old friend...

Nothing like health issues to help motivate you to more carefully consider what you’re putting into your body. I have gallstones and I think I have a painful reaction to dairy/whey protein in dairy. So I’m going to try and remember to track my food so I can monitor how I feel after I eat. However I have post concussion syndrome and I’m extremely poor at follow-through. So hopefully the app and the push notifications will help me to remember to do it. I know everyone struggles with weight loss and I’m rooting for everyone who logs in daily regardless for how the journey is going. And those who don’t and are just trying to get their sh*t together. It’s a marathon, not a race. I think more ppl die during marathons though...not helpful...ok...moving on! Let’s put a menial effort towards this so I feel like I’m taking some responsibility for my health even though my body continues to betray me...ok...I’m negative...I still need to try.

    I was always a bit proud that I endured natural child birth...o, the pain. Lol🤣 Gall stones proved me wrong. WORST PAIN EVER!!!!

    The phrase I've come to use for myself is "measure the journey, not the moment"

    So if the scale moves up a pound or so, don't panic. Could be almost anything causing that. And, yeah, logging food can be a total PITA. I've done it for 140 days in a row no and it is STILL a challenge sometimes to remember to do it.

    Every little thing we do to improve our situation, helps. You don’t have to be perfect, or log perfectly. The more you do it, the more it will become a habit. We can only try 👍
