I'm so glad I'm doing WW (blue) My son loves to cook and several times a week he wants us to cook a meal. I'm so glad I know how to portion control and tracking otherwise I his zeal for cooking would sabotage my journey.
Today he want us to make lasagna - nothing fat free or low fat etc. - I'll help make it but then only have maybe 1/2 cup of it and then portion out a couple of days worth. It's really hard to lose weight tho when you only have yourself doing it lol but I've been on WW for over a year now and have lost around 10 pounds - may not sound like much but I'm not in any kind of a hurry and to me any weight loss is a plus whether it's .1 pound or 1 pound or 3 pounds or 5 pounds etc.
Tonight we have our first Boy Scout Leader's Meeting of the year - I usually take the month of December off but I was kinda burned out from a new leader we have so I also took a couple weeks off in November as well. I really needed that time away and that 6 weeks or so has made me realize that if I were to walk away (I'm a 20+ year leader) I wouldn't miss it (that was kinda a really sad revelation too) - because I did not miss my time away (with our previous leader I would have missed that time terribly). I think too I have had a very rough 2019 year with my Troop - In January our 14+ year leader retired - in February our Advancement Leader passed away suddenly - February to November our current leader doesn't hold a candle to our previous one and at the November Leader's Meeting our Committee Chair of 14 years has said that in May (2020) he will be retiring as well. I've lost or am going to be losing all the people I've been very comfortable working with. (sorry this was so long)
Oh - questions if anyone can answer - how do people get those little weight scales at the bottom of their comments? I've looked but the only thing I've found was the pdf of spark's tape measure
