And here I am....

I’m back to blogging. I have missed it! Life is so crazy and my priorities have gotten so rearranged this past year! My focus on myself, my eating, and my self-care, have really had to take a back seat. However, I know that without those things in the right place, life is totally nuts. So I am grabbing a bit of time today to ask help from my sparkfriends to pull my life back into order!
I have let myself overeat in many ways. Too much baked goods, too many helpings, not enough fruits and veggies. I am letting myself down on the exercise too as I sit most of the time, either through virtual schooling grands or iPad work/games. I am staying up way too late. Burning the midnight oil as they say. I am also not getting in enough water, drinking too much caffeine sources.
All of these slips combine to make me feel pretty down on myself, but through this blog I hope to step forward and get more into the healthy lifestyle I want to have. Thanks for reading my blog. I appreciate advice as I know I am not the only one struggling on this site! I hope you all are blessed with a relaxing and refreshing weekend! emoticon

    This sounds like my life too at the moment. Taking it one day at a time and beginning with baby steps is a good way to get back on track. Yesterday I picked up a new water bottle as I too have been indulging in too much sugary drinks and not enough water. Getting back to the basics, like 8 cups of water/day is a good place to start.

    I am methodically "checking the boxes" myself, today. Funny how many of us seem to be in exactly the same place, right here, right now.

    You can do it! If you're like me, you might like putting your goals as lists in an obvious place. I have a whiteboard in my kitchen. It feels great to check off the boxes and really stares at you if you miss a day...
