I had a good day yesterday I was finally after 3 weeks not severely bloated. I was able to be more active free from the stomach pain and the back pain. When I am severely bloated it really aggravates the arthritis along my spine.

I have been doing a lot of looking around the site I found some chair exercises that I can start with as mobility is an issue a good deal of the time. I was so excited to find them as it gives me hope!

My nutrition is my biggest problem because of my gastoparesis. If I eat when I am not hungry my stomach throws it right back up. This has been a life long problem, yet I was diagnosed with it 2 years ago and of course now it is to severe to fix. I have been working with a dietician and finally found a solution to get some nutrition into me when I am not hungry with Ensure Clear. The regular creamy Ensure, or Boost shakes my stomach would throw them up as well same with jello and broth. The broth I found strange. My stomach likes to eat once a day in the evening and that that is to be a low carb dinner because of my diabetes.

I also need to work on getting my water up. I usually only drink 2-3 glasses a day. I have received great advice on taking baby steps by increasing it a glass each week. i am going to go that route.

I am going to work on a vision board tomorrow and think of a few more short term goals.

We have been dealing with wildfires here in Colorado just as the rest of the western states. I took a couple of pictures on Saturday afternoon of a huge smoke plume that started coming my way. I originally thought it was from the huge Cameron Peak fire that started a couple of months ago about 60 miles away. It actually turned out it was a new fire that started just 2 hours before I took the pictures which is the Calwood fire that is about 35 miles away.

On my way to the store:

Leaving the store just 20 minutes later

I experienced similar problems years ago. One thing that helped enormously was drinking water. And lots of it. For one thing, it helps dilute acid that the stomach puts out. Things get backed up when water is insufficient. See what a difference it makes. ...Those wildfires have been horrific! ..Take care! ...😊 ...💓
