Monday and oops

I didn't take my computer with me to Rockford Saturday because I didn't know I was going to spend the night, so I was much later than usual Sparking yesterday. I found the snip of blog I had started open in a tab and never posted - oops.
Spent Saturday morning driving all around Rockford trying to deliver documents and such for the house I am buying. Then went back to my friend's house and with him to do some used office furniture shopping. The store owner emailed measurements to him and we went back to his house and re-measured, then he called back to see if we could come pick up the pieces he wanted - yes, so we drove back in both vehicles. Three credenzas, three overhead wall cabinets, and a cabinet-white-board would not all fit in our two, so the store owner took the last two pieces and followed us back for a very small delivery charge. Poor guy - his kids thought it was a great adventure, not so sure his wife did.
We let the furniture store owner unload his vehicle and leave. We then spent the rest of the afternoon moving all that heavy furniture - Steelcase credenzas weigh a LOT, even with the file drawers removed. By the time we got done moving it all and re-arranging because it didn't fit quite the way he wanted it, it was dinner time, so we drove over to Woodman's and picked up some food and had drinks and a lovely dinner in his dining room. I spent the night in the guest room since we sat and talked until past 10:30 - no way I was up to an hour drive by then. I really need to learn to not go anywhere without a charging cable for my phone. It was dead by morning.
Sunday morning I drove home, spent the day putzing around, packed some more boxes, did the laundry that didn't get done Saturday because I wasn't home, and talked to my mom for over an hour. Early to bed, early to rise.
Have a great week, everyone!
