I hereby declare January 1st . . . RESET DAY!!
I found myself today reviewing my Spark Streak goals and resetting the consistency button because seriously, who wants to start the new year with a “drink 8 glasses of water” consistency of just 14%? Or not “drinking pop/soda” consistency of 75%? For just one day, I want my goals to be 100%
I realized my RESET this January 1 was different than previous years. Instead of resetting goals and consistency to start over (again), I was resetting to CONTINUE my weight loss journey and align them with Spark Challenges I have committed to in 2021.
Going the Distance in 2021 - can’t get 2021 miles at 5000 steps/day. Do you know how hard it is for a person with a desk job and 70 minute commute to get 5000 steps per day, let alone 10,000 steps or 5 miles/day? I will have to make some adjustments to my day, but I’m up to the challenge!
Winter 5% Weight Loss Challenge - I took part in my first 5% challenge this Fall and OMG for the first time in years I stuck with an 8 week program losing 12#. Didn’t make my 5% loss goal but I really just needed a kick start and that’s what I got!
So no matter how you find yourself “reseting” today - starting you journey, starting over on your journey, or continuing your journey - congratulations (and Thank You) for celebrating RESET DAY with me!!
