When it rains it pours.

On Friday someone rear ended my husband's work vehicle and he is fine. Thank you Lord! The vehicle was totaled. Luckily it was not his fault.

On Saturday our furnace broke and was not fixed until today. Thankfully we did not have to replace it, just a repair. I hope it keeps working for a long time.

Also on Saturday, I climbed a ladder to peek at the furnace and when I came down the ladder, I missed the last step and pulled something in my shoulder.

I completely forgot to go to a work training yesterday afternoon .

Last night I wanted chocolate chip cookies and icecream ( yes! even though I was cold) so bad I thought I was going to cave. All I could think about was how delicious they would taste and how things were going wrong and I NEEDED the treat. I did not eat the cookies and icecream. It was super hard. I kept thinking about how hard I have been working at tracking those darn calories and how I did not want to mess up on this Biggest Loser Challenge. I did eat about 8 chocolate chips but I think that was a lot better than the cookies and icecream so I can definitely live with that.

I woke up this morning and put on a pair of jeans that were very snug a month ago and they fit perfectly. I really want to keep trying this go round and see what I can do. Who knows, this may be the time that works! emoticon

You, my dear, have far more will power than I do! I think if all that happened to me, I would have caved and had the treat. How is your shoulder? Ouch. And, fitting into your jeans - that is a HUGE accomplishment! emoticon

Sorry for all the bad luck but way to go on resisting temptation. Good for you for finding a small treat to enjoy!

So glad your husband is ok, the furnace is fix, it's too cold for that. I hope your shoulder gets better, rub some icy hot on it or put a heating pad on it. You are awesome to keep that will power not to eat that ice cream after all that went on...Way To Go! Congratulations on getting into your jeans emoticon emoticon
