Cleaning out the half barrel pond

Once a year I take everything out of the little pond and clean out all the muck that has accumulated over the year. Some times I find little frog eggs, but this time I found two hibernating frogs. They hardly moved at all when I scooped them, and the muck, out of the bottom. As soon as it was clean and fresh water had been added, I put those frogs back into it. That was yesterday.
Today after the water had settled and cleared - there is always a bit of debris floating in it after it gets cleaned, I added the filter pump and got it going.
I had a fellow coming over for estimating and then starting work on a patio and garden structure this afternoon. Upon closer inspection, the original spot was deemed unsuitable, but the area in front of the little pond is perfect.
So work will begin tomorrow.
