Back On Track

Well, the binge is over. Now I have to deal with lowering the high glucose numbers. I have Type 2 Diabetes, and my body doesn't process sugar well.
Yesterday I was given a beautiful box of chocolates and foolishly ate all 6 of them in one day. Here's my plan:
1. I forgive myself for ignoring my goals for a few sweet bites.
2. I go for a long walk to help burn off the excess calories.
3. I stay hydrated, drinking clear water and some herbal tea.
4. Keep moving forward, putting first things first.
Life goes on. Hopefully, I'll look at the box of chocolates as delicious poison and eat only one next time.
