It's been a good day for the most part. I attempted to sleep in - at least managed to get back to sleep after Mike got up at 4:30, but it didn't last too long. I ended up getting up just before 5:30. I mean, seriously? Why can't I just sleep in???? I got up, had my Energize, read my Bible and devotional and did my workout. I doubled up on cardio today since I only had enough time to do the stretch workout yesterday. I took my shower and had my breakfast.
My extent of housework today was washing the dishes (twice), making the bed and tackling two loads of laundry. I probably could have done more laundry, but didn't want to.
The boys left at 11:30 to go to the first graduation reception. I chose to skip that one, partially because the boys were wanting to stop at an auction afterwards. They ended up not staying at the auction, so they were home shortly after noon. A little before 1:30 we headed back to Greenfield for the other two receptions and then we came back home and Matthew headed to work.
I pretty much have done some reading, paid attention to baseball games and worked in my dot-to-dot book. It's been cloudy all day, so it made it hard to get motivated. I did get a guest book ordered from Amazon. This week I need to get Matthew's "memories" put in the scrapbook that I got yesterday. I'm not planning on putting a lot out for his reception - basically because I'm not sure where on the property we will be putting everything. If it's going to be a nice day we'll set the tables up by the house and have people go through the house to get their food. If it's not a nice day we're setting stuff up in the shop/barn (there are no farm animals - just cats that we'll put away when people are here so they aren't in the way). The unknown right now is bugging me. We have the two plans - we just have to wait and see.
1. Nutrition: Actually not too bad. I did get my veggies in. I skipped the first reception, the second reception had Walking Tacos (so not a huge meal) and I skipped cake (oh my goodness!), the third reception was just s'mores. I had a salad for supper.
2. Fitness: Day 41 - Walk On: 5 Fat Burning Miles - yes, I did all 5 miles!
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional; did some reading and dot-to-dots; phone/computer time was okay
Tomorrow - Mother's Day! First is church in the morning and we recognize the senior class students that are members of our church - special bonus for Matthew and Sophia since they are still in the praise team. I'm not sure what the rest of the day will bring. I should decide if I want to go out to eat and if so, where. There will be pie after church...
