Pep talk to lose 3.5 Pounds

My Spark Name KALISWALKER is from 2008 when I joined Spark. I had an American Water Spaniel named Kali. My new dog Rebel is also American Water Spaniel, so really I am REBELSWALKER.

I am giving myself positive self talk. Aim for a weight loss of 1 pound a week (daily 500 calorie deficit). Losing a pound a week is 52 pounds in a year, but I am only aiming for ~40 pounds. I don't have to be perfect to lose ~40 pounds, but I need to have more lower calorie days. Now is not the time to coast/plateau, or run a victory lap, dig in keep going. My short term goal is to get into the 150's by the end of the 5% Challenge May 29th.

Losing 80 pounds has changed my life for the better. Stay focused on losing the next 3.5 pounds. Each day, each meal, continue nutrition tracking. Monitor daily stats to optimize results. Get sufficient good quality sleep so I am energized to diet/hike/exercise more.

OK I know what I have to do this week - plan meals, 9 PM bedtime, exercise earlier in the day.
