Ever been hit by a taser?

If you have, you'll understand this post... if not I'll try to explain it.
In 2006 I was working for a high end security company that required us to carry tasers on site. In order to carry the weapon, we had to go through the training. To pass the training, you guessed it, we had to experience the excitement of being zapped by one of those little personal protective devices. It hurts like the devil.... but if you're expecting it, you're prepared for it. Fully informed that the experience is that of sticking a fork into a 110v socket.
Last night I was laying in bed when I felt like someone zapped me with one of those dastardly devices right in the rib cage. . . it hurt. I yelled. My poor husband, god love him, scrambled out of bed to help, but there wasn't much he could do. The whole episode lasted about 5 minutes. It was horrible.
Today I woke up and I'm sore and still very stiff from last night. I'm taking a day off to just relax around my house with my dogs and rest. I believe the culprit for this was our day at the playground, I may have done too much. Either way, I'm calling my Neurosurgeon later just to advise them of the change.
Tomorrow will be better. I know it. This was just my body reminding me that I'm not totally up to snuff yet. . . but I'm getting there.
