I survived the weekend!

I took my wife out to eat, we took the kids out, and saturdays dance was catered. I managed to make health choices and this mornings weight in saw me still at 179. I got to make the change to my weight scale. Nine more pounds to go!

It's Friday at last and I am looking forward to all the outdoors activities. Of course this means I have to survive taking my wife out to eat. Today I am at 179 pounds and would really like to stay below 180 for my Monday weigh in.

I normally weigh in on Monday but I am on vacation all next week and do not have a scale at home. I use the scale at work and do all my exercise on my lunch break.

I am at 183 pounds today so I have finally lost my first 10 pounds, but even better I have lost four and a half inches on my waist! I have a Dr. appointment on Monday so I will see what his scale has to say.

The weather is beautiful here so to help keep the pounds off while I am away we are taking the kids hiking and trying to spend the majority of our time away outside in nature.

Got to start planning my healthy meals for the road. Talk to y'all soon!

I do my weekly weigh-in's and measurments on Wednesday morning ... gives me a couple of days to loose any water weight from over the weekend~ LOL! This is perfect, because I just started tracking again on Feb. 23rd after battling the cold/flu for weeks.
March 2 - 160.2 (lost 3.75 inches)
March 9 - 159.2 (lost another 1.5 inches)
March 16 -
March 23 -
March 30 -
This is great way to be accountable - I've only got 6 weeks until my cruise and want to get at least 5 more pounds off!

Do not go where the path might lead you ... go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

PURPLEANDBLACK, to get a weight tracker, you have to go to your personal spark page, find the edit button on the right hand side, click that and then scroll down quite a ways. Make your choices and enter you info and then make sure you click the save button before leaving your spark page. Hope this helps.

TRACEY72065, I totally agree. the wekend s are a killer. But I have to say that after 5 days with my family in NYC (where my cousin insisted on serving me a full plate of food), i only gained half a pound. Even though my cousin fed me a lot of food, a lotg of it was vegetables and beans (high in fiber) so, it was good for me. And I found ways to fit in some exercise in our crowded apt (doing wall-pushups in the bathroom and tricep dips in the dark). i am very happy with myself. Now, i need to keep it up.

3/3 - I'm at 153. My goals are for daily food tracking, especially on the weekend, that's most difficult.

Looking for 1 - 2 pounds to lose in March. Will be on vacation at the end of the month. Tracking my food should help me get there.
