Good afternoon 😃 doing good here. Rough night of weather last night. 14 trees down over road and many in the community. Boat dock roof blown off with side boards pulled out also. It was in the lake. No one hurt that’s a blessing.

Yesterday, 45 min 📀 15 min ST

today Thursday 31 min recumbent = 6 miles and 150 cal burn . Going to try and beat the milaes and cal burn tomorrow in 31 minutes. this is myself challenge.

At the weekend I did some Random Cardio - every time I went passed the bottom of the stairs, I did 10 step-ups for each leg.
May not sound like much, but I had an upset stomach and had to pass the stairs to get to the bathroom !!! (Half the time I was doing my step-ups in catch-up mode LOL).

Good Tuesday Morning! I finally found a strength training class that I like. It's called Body Pump and on Saturday we did some squats, some triceps work outs and some core workouts.

My favorite exercise for Strength training now is chest presses on the machine in the weight room at my local gym. . I find the machines for me are better as they keep my form correct.

A favorite exercise of mine is a WoodChop with a lunge: Stand with feet in lunge position, holding a weight with both hands (on either end of the dumbbell). If the lunge leg (forward leg) is the left, then begin by lifting the weight diagonally to the right up over the right shoulder, then bring it down diagonally across the body and to the left while lowering into the lunge position. Repeat on that side for the full number of reps, then reverse leg positions and do the other side. This exercise is a balance challenge and really works the core, legs, and arms all at the same time.

I found dust on my 5lb dumb bells. I used to use10lbs for my ab work, but had to go down. So sad to say that 5 lbs was too heavy, too. Am now using 3 lbs for additional weight on my crunches and arm work. GRRRR!

I did Jillian's Six pack Ab workout yesterday. I got about half way through it. The moves on the floor are hard and I could not do some of them very good.
