I start week 2 tomorrow. I've chosen to do the 10 Minute Cardio Kickboxing video as my bonus. I'm planning on doing it the days I don't have my regularly scheduled cardio, just to give those days a bit of a boost.

I'm also planning on tracking my food Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday of this week. I know I should track my food already, or more often, but I lose patience with that very easily as I make a lot of homecooked meals with many, many elements and tracking them individually is a pain. I think tracking food will be the biggest challenge of my week!

Tomorrow I plan to take measurements and do a weigh-in. This is something I should have done prior to beginning this bootcamp, but I completely forgot all about it. So, we'll see how transforming the last 3 weeks of this are.

Just starting Week 2, I did video 1 and the lower body with band workout.

No weight loss.

I read an article explaining that you may see a weight gain when you start exercising due to muscle inflammation which causes water retention. After two weeks, you should see a decrease in your weight.

This article helped me be more patient and not give up.

I added the 10 minute cardio kickboxing video... I love these 10 minute videos because I can squeeze in 10 mins throughout the day better than I can 30 to 40 minutes at one time

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I haven 't lost one pound! I am starting over today adding more workouts. I tried doing the video workouts on here but am unable to do some of them because I broke my wrist a year ago and still can't put weight on that arm for push ups, etc. I can lift weights but not much. I have been counting my calories and working out at the gym daily for 9 days now and not one pound lost. I am lifting weights and doing the elliptical machine for 30 mintues. Any suggestions? emoticon

I have been at a plateau for so long and needed something new to overcome it. I love the bootcamp. I have actually been having fun with the new workouts. I look forward to trying something new daily. This week I did the kickboxing cardio workout and love it. I felt so refreshed after doing it twice and combined it with the Day 4 workout and the 10 minute crunchless abs workout (difficult).

I am so loving this bootcamp!!! I have been telling everyone about it!!! I have hypothyroid and it takes me forever to lose a pound (1 lb every 2-3 months!!) I have lost 2 lbs last week and 2 lbs this week already!!! I have officially met my first medium goal...I lost 40 lbs total!!!!
I have been doing my usual workouts and adding 2 different videos form the 28 day bootcamp choices. I did the jump rope cardio (that one was a killer for me!!!) and the upper body toning workout!! I am just loving this all the way around...I plan to give my body a 1 mth break after I finish this bootcamp and start it back up!!!

I did the day 1 cardio workout yesterday and it is still a killer, hope i can master it by the end of this challenge! for my bonus video i'm choosing 5min lower body resistance band workout - I needed something that would be quick and work on my lower body since i'm already doing another workout that is rather challenging for me.

I did the Jump Rope Challenge and that was very hard...I did it...but I thought I was going to die!!!! Also added the Upper body toning workout with dumbbells.....that went really well for me. I already lost 2 lbs on the first week challenge and am pleased with this as I have Hypothyroid disease.

So looking forward to this week!
I'll be using the 6-minute Butt Blasting workout video, for my extra.. I remember using this when I started, 2 1/2 years ago, and loved it!
Also can't wait to get back in the habit of using the food tracker. I had great success with that before. I lost 31 lbs in 3 or 4 months! I hope to have similar results this time around!

W2D2 today... I have to say, I love Coach Nicole's abs videos!! This week on ab days, I'll do two sets of everything. Am also happy to see two kickboxing vids now, one or both will be my bonus workout this week. emoticon

I'm having a lot of fun with this, though I have to admit that I often use the Bootcamp vid as kind of a warmup for BodyRock workouts... ahum.

I just got done doing my day 2 week 2 workout, I like to consider this kind of a workout like a warm up for me. I tend to do 3 different types of workouts a day. I am now on my 9th day in a row of working out and my stamina has really grown. Last two nights i have been working out for 45 mins and today i did my bootcamp workout plus 20 mins of cardio and strength training and I barely broke a sweat. This is why I love Jilliam Michaels no matter what that girl will make you sweat. I find it a lot harder to push myself to even workout, I hate it! I know that in order to be a healthy fit mother and to be where I want to be it takes working out and of course eating right. I have yet to do the bonus video I haven't even checked it out yet. I enjoy coming to the 28 day bootcamp workout because it gives me different options and keep my mind and interest in my diet. I can't wait to see what next week has to offer emoticon

You continue to do the work and you'll become more fit. You'll be able to do the exercises. I believe you are doing great and you are in week 2 emoticon .

I just completed day one of week two and I feel great. I have to modify some of the exercises as well, but I don't consider myself unfit because I can do some I couldn't do at all when I first started out with spark. I've come a long way from my 20 min cardio sessions to 60 min sessions. I also decided to do my bonus video on tuesdays and thursdays as well.

Let's continue to kick butt!!!!!!! emoticon

I didn;t realise just how UNFIT I am - I have had to modify and do the easiest versions of each workout, which is a little discouraging. I have a long way to go. However, I know that consistency will make me stronger and I will be able to do every exercise - and even the extra challenging versions too.

For week 2, I have added folders to my favourites list so I can choose whatever bonus I fancy - not sure what to choose yet. I already do extra Pilates moves each morning for my back. Looking forward to adding the extra workout tomorrow morning and Thursday morning!

Whoo hoo.

I am on day 2 of week 2 of bootcamp. Who would have known that this works so well! I'm down 11 pounds already! I'm sure the weight loss will slow down but I'll take what I can get! I ordered shorts one size smaller online for my vacation in May. I got them yesterday and they are too big!!! How great is that? Except that now I have to exchange them.

I am looking for some creative ideas for cardio. I am stuck in the house with my 9 month old and 2 year old ALL THE TIME and it is too cold to go for walks with them just yet. I am quickly getting tired of netflix instant dance exercise videos! Any suggestions?

This challenge is proving harder than I thought. Granted I was essentially starting from scratch - I hadn't technically worked out in over 3 or 4 months. It has all turned to flab. :( Its also making me retain water so my weight has actually gone up. :P I am now officially 1.4 pounds above my goal range. I know it will come off but its a little silly.

I chose the 15 Minute Desk Workout as my extra video this week and I did it last night. Coach Nicole's videos are usually harder than they look, but this was a good one to do on what was supposed to be a rest day. (Just the cardio.) In retrospect I should have just done the rest day, but I am feeling a bit better today.

Tonight I'll do the Day 2 video and I'll bike for my cardio. I love that my exercise room is right next to the laundry room; it makes my chore that much more convenient.

I started this bootcamp as with an existing workout routine so I am really looking for new things to incorporate into my current routines to keep up the variety and challenge myself in new ways. Today I added the 10-minute crunchless ab workout to my 30 Day Shred Level 2 cardio and strength workout. It was ok, I think that I will try the kickboxing one on Friday!!! Trying to bust through a plateau, must keep the motivation going!

I started Week 2 this morning and got crazy today! This challenge has totally wrapped my mind
around getting my activity in,.
Last week I did 50 minutes of zumba three times. Today I went to the 1:00 class and was so wound up afterwards, I ended up going to the 4:00 class as well. My legs are tired now, but I feel great!
It looks like a lot of people like the kickboxing video, and I've always wanted to try that out, so I will do that one tomorrow. I'll take a break from zumba I think!

I already do a mix of walking and jogging on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays each week. I'm working towards jogging with a little walking instead of the half and half that I'm doing now. So, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, I think I'll do the 10 minute cardio kickboxing video.

Tracking is key for me. I write it all down, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I started week two today for Bootcamp work out. I plan to mix things up this week and do two bootcamp videos or do them twice at least fours days this week, continue with cardio kick boxing video four days this week and I tried the butt blasting workout today and loved it, and I also tried the hips glutes and thighs loved that one too.

For the days that I know I wont have a lot of time I will do my 10 min video, and a cardio video, and then try for short 10 min walking 2 a day. ie the day I work a double shift.

Hi! I'm on day 3 of week two today. I had trouble keeping up last week when my mom was visiting, but I got my videos in (OK, not the day I had to spend 7 hours in the car getting her from the airport...I'm behind by one day). I had trouble managing anything beyond the 10 minutes of cardio I needed, but at least I got the minimum- still having trouble getting any higher-intensity cardio with kids underfoot all the time! Maybe I'll get more in as I finish this week. The good news is that my mom saw me doing the bootcamp videos, and she has signed up for SparkPeople now! She's back home now, so it's up to her whether she uses it... I did what I could.

I did the New YOU bootcamp day 1 cardio video today (kickbox), and it was fun. I managed to not kick any small people/the dog in the head, which is always a victory when my uncoordinated limbs are flailing about. ;D
