I am behind. My pledge this week (well by Thursday lets say) is to do at least 20 minutes strength training. I know that isn't much for many of you, but for me, its something I was not doing in the recent past.

I went to the gym today with my cousin, she can take me free (my fav), anyways, I proud to say I tried the Arc Trainer for the first time today. I'd say I did very well for my first time went 15 minutes straight. My leg doesn't hurt but I don't know there's a spot I feel..so I didn't want to overdo. I've been doing a stationary bike and can do 30 minutes but the Ark had me today. I'm gonna do it again.

I hope I'm putting this in the right thread. My second week here I started using the Treadmill Trainer program from Yuri Elkaim from Canada on my IPOD. It's a great treadmill speed-interval training set with 5 volumes. I'm on volume 1 which takes about 32-35 mins plus stretching after. It was a $20 mp3 download, but like I said it's 5 volumes so should last me a long while. I don't know how long it will take me to be ready for volume 2! It doesn't require incline changes either, at least in volume 1.

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
-Ephesians 4:1

I forgot to put my pledge here this week, but I added strength training on Tuesdays and Thursdays this week. Losing the weight is great but I have got to get the leftover toned and stronger. So I now have strength training 5 days a week.

I've started riding my father's stationary bike, now that I've got the seat in the right spot my butt doesn't hurt half as much. I'm also going to be spicing up my workouts with Xbox's Zumba, I've done Dance Central which is fun but gotta keep it fresh.

This week I tried an exercise that came in my email from spark people. I haven't been good about doing strength training, so I thought I would start by adding just one. I added calf raises and did them Sunday and today.

Hmm, what to do...
I am currently working out to a VERY OUTDATED DVD of my cousin's..LOL but it gets the job done so i don't complain, but in lieu of that, I would like to start walking 2 days/week as well...

I started walking yesterday as a sub to the DVD, but maybe if I could walk on the days that I don't normally exercise, that would be even better, right?!!?!

Last week I said I would try my Jillian DVD. I didn't do that DVD, but I did do my P90 dvd twice, so I did something new (well, new because I haven't done it in a couple of years) so I'm counting that instead! I also did all my videos for the SIS bootcamp challenge!!!!

This week I'm going to look up a place to try a Zumba class. Hopefully they offer one on Saturdays. If not, then I'm going to do a Saturday yoga class at LA Fitness.

Got in on the challenge late last week and didn't make it to the gym at all. This is a super busy week... So this week I'm going to include 10 min of activity at least 3 days this week.

I am going to run on the treadmill for at least 5 min. a day. This probably doesn't sound like much but it nearly killed me! :) emoticon

I will still be doing my boot camp and cardio as well :)

I started my day with Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer. I pledge to do that or Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred every morning. I'm also geared up to begin running again. I'm doing a modified Couch25K program.

My water aerobics class is not meeting again until late June emoticon , so to fill in the three days a week I want to do that, I'm going to be doing the walk/jog a 5k training program. I've tried training for a 5k before, but never stuck to it!

I am adding "boosted" walking and doing a "walk/jog" mix, a 1/4 mile at a time, instead of just two miles walking. As such, I hope to jog a mile this week. :) emoticon

I brought home two fitness DVDs from the library this week, one from The Firm, one from The Biggest Loser, and I plan to do at least one of them this week to try out a new routine.
