Slow start, was under the weather for a week. Water is usually no problem but while sick found it wa hard to get my usual in. I have bee taking my vitamins just so I could function. Hoping I will do better now.

I feel like I am definitely making progress! Tomorrow starts week 2. Who's ready?

Tomorrow begins the new focus. This week focus on 1 to 2 servings of lean protein and continue with week 1’s focus of water and vitamin/mineral supplement.

I just found this, and this is great. I am better about taking my vitamins than getting my 8 glasses of water. So I will be working on that.

I'm getting my water and vitamin in! Water is usually easy for me (especially during exercise), but tomorrow will be a challenge. It's errand day in town with my Mom and although it's easy enough to drink during the day....not always easy to find a restroom. Oh well, I'll make up for it later. emoticon Not looking forward to tomorrow -- forecast is for 105. And we can't get it all done early as she has a podiatry appt at 1:30.

So, how's everyone doing with the challenge? Have you noticed it helping you make other healthy changes? I hit my water consumption goal and my goal of taking my vitamin. I have definitely noticed that I am making healthier choices. I am excited about the scale on Thursday, but I know it's not my sole source of measurement. :-)

Workdays really seem easier for me to get in my water and vitamins. I think it is because I am in a routine. I eat my breakfast and take my vitamins. I think because my weekends are less structured, it is more difficult for me. I think once I made the change to bring a "marked" water bottle with me and filling my cup of water from that, it makes it much easier for me to get my water in.

In the spirit of honesty, I did not do well on Saturday. I planned well, but it doesn't do me much good if I don't actually drink it. I did get my vitamin in though. I managed to hit my goal yesterday and got in my water and my vitamin. Today I will rock it. I've already got a good start in. How about everyone else?

thanks for the reminder--because I'm not out in the heat much on my days off, I have a hard time remembering to drink my water like I should. I'm making a goal of at least 8 cups on my days off and over 10 on my days on (my average those days is 14 because I'm outside or below decks all day and there's no relief.

This week focus on Water and vitamin/mineral supplement. For me, I am aiming for 8-8 oz. cups of water. I hear different perspectives on it like drink half your body weight, etc., but I know if I am for 8, I should be good and if my body wants more, then I can drink more.
