Today's actual 125.2 lbs.
Trending 128.2 lbs.

Note the difference in that scale weight and trend weight. It's significant. There has been a marked dip in the scale weights over the past 5 days. Not sure why. Not alarmed. Simply noting the observation and continuing to listen to, understand and respond to the body as best I can.

Update: Just looked at the fitbit data for yesterday and see that an all time low for 'exercise' calorie burn was set 94 kcal, an all time low for steps of 720 and an all time low for distance 0.32 miles. Total calorie burn for the day amounted to 1298 kcal. Can we say SEDENTARY?! Yeah. This ME is kicking me in the backside.

Below is a chart from the Online Hacker's Diet which will provide some visual context, as far as weight goes, in response to the health challenges that have left me unable to work since December 2018.



Thyroid function faltered and went ballistic in October 2019. We have been working for 18 months and counting attempting to stabilize it. Unexplained weight gain is an indicator for me that the thyroid is struggling.

At present, there is a 7-week trend down in the weight. Is thyroid function improving? Not sure. There are no clear physicial indications other than the weight that it may be the case. Other physicial indications of thyroid challenges remain.

So, the downward trend in weight may be due to something else. Appetite is not good. Am experiencing O2 and HR challenges.

So, who knows ...

Will continue to listen to and respond to the body's needs to the best of my ability and enjoy the ride.

Well, I was a little bit disappointed to finish at 117 - but my sensible head tell me we're talking ounces here, ounces! I've ended about 1lb lower that I started - and this Challenge is the first one in ages where I've hit 116lbs. That's encouraged me to aim for that again next time.

I am using the Hacker's Diet Online ("How to lose weight and hair through stress and poor nutrition," and not to be confused with the myriad other Hacker's Diet websites) website to calculate my trending weight.
